We are incredibly proud to announce that AJ’s own Simon Isham, Louisville Melton Director, was recently honored in recognition of his exceptional leadership and dedication to the success of the Melton program here in Louisville. Carrying on the legacy of Deborah Slosberg and her commitment to establishing Melton here in our community, Simon continues to carry the light of learning here at Adath Jeshurun.
As part of this honor, Simon has been invited to serve as a Melton Community Ambassador at the upcoming Conference of Learners, taking place November 16–19, 2026, at the Brandeis-Bardin Campus outside Los Angeles. As part of this special opportunity, he has also been asked to participate in a panel discussion highlighting the impact of Melton programming in local communities and the role that vibrant schools like Louisville play in advancing Jewish learning.
