In the latest American Welding Society Welding Journal, Caltech Manufacturing INC shares how focusing on fixturing, fit-up consistency, workflow, and labor utilization created the foundation for successful automation adoption.

Today, Caltech has grown to seven Vectis cobots in production. Their story highlights an important key to success for any shop considering automation: the best results come when automation builds upon an existing foundation of consistent upstream processes.

As Caltech shares:
"Automation readiness begins with having efficient processes already in place. Automation can significantly increase a shop's capacity for growth, but it begins with a strong foundation in part quality, fixturing, and workplace culture."

Supporting a local build with Habitat for Humanity.

Recently, the Vectis team had the privilege to volunteer with Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity to provide affordable housing for families in our local community. We’re grateful to everyone who took the time to participate. It was a great opportunity to work together while supporting a meaningful local project and contributing to work that will have a lasting impact.
