Mission and Program Goals
Our community is as strong as its weakest link. Our weakest link might have no services, no respite and no finances to bring them to the next level. These need others to show them they are loved, they are valuable, and they have purpose and strength. They need a hand to help raise them in their disabilities and challenges. Our mission is to provide an opportunity to work within their limits and shine in spite of their past.
Our Program goals are to fill the need in Weld and Larimer counties for children of parents with mental health illnesses, children who have mental health issues or have been victims of domestic violence, are pregnant teens, are children whose guardians need intervention and respite care or whose guardians have relinquished custody. We are planning a full time respite care facility for severely mentally ill and medically fragile children/individuals. These clients are the ones who do not belong in foster care nor Platt and need extra intervention and direction. This non-profit would be privately funded to avoid the current Medicaid service dilemmas within our system. We would work in covenant with existing non-profits and service organizations and provide additional alternate services normally not financially covered.
Our VISION:
Year-round school with School of Tomorrow curriculum. Therapy including equine and animal therapy as well as a sensory facility. Sustainability. Vocation Ed Program. Childcare. A play ground. Volunteer fairway. Respite care facility. Teen pregnancy home and program. Ranch homes. Mental health services. Studio apartment community. On-site nurses and emergency intake and offices.
