The 2026 Summer Reading Program theme is: Unearth A Story!!

This program is for kiddos entering the 2nd-5th grades. Sign-ups start May 4th. Visit us in the library for a registration form. Each session is limited to 20 kids, so it's first come first serve!

This program was funded in part by the Friends of the Pershing County Library, and a federal LSTA grant from IMLS and NSLAPR.

The library will soon be starting Magic the Gathering programming! The idea is that any patron interested can walk away with their own deck, but first we'd like to gather as many supplies as possible. If any of our patrons have extra MTG supplies they'd like to offload, or would like to donate towards the program, we'd be very grateful for them.

We're looking for cards, mats, sleeves, boxes, dice, any MTG supply you no longer want or want to contribute. We only ask that the supply is clean and in good condition. You can bring them to any librarian at our front desk!
