The Pershing County Sheriff's Office would like to extend our sincere condolences to Barb Hickox and the entire Hickox family for the loss of a great husband, father, grandfather and friend-Richard Hickox.

Sheriff Richard Hickox was a pillar of the Law Enforcement Community as well as a staunch protector and servant of Churchill County. Richard was a mentor to many in the Law Enforcement profession.

Richard was also a man of great Faith and loved his Family dearly. He will leave a void not easily filled, but his memories will last.

My staff and I want to offer our condolences to the men and women of the Churchill County Sheriff's Office as well and offer any support needed during this emotionally difficult time.
