We are a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization formed in 1985 to alleviate some of the pressing housing needs in Nelson County.

NCCDF was awarded a $50k community planning grant from Virginia Housing for a year-long study on two parcels of land on Callohill Drive in Lovingston. NCCDF will undertake this study with Hill Studio out of Roanoke to evaluate the property for affordable housing. Community input is vital in the planning process, so stay alert for more on this as the work progresses!
