If you’ve spent any time at the PKCC, chances are you’ve seen Mema and her loving family.

They brighten our days with their smiles, their laughter, and the genuine care they show one another. They remind us that some of life’s greatest gifts are friendship, support, and simply knowing someone is there for you.

We often say that everyone is welcome at the Project Kompass Community Center, and families like Mema’s are a beautiful example of why that matters.

Every person who walks through our doors has a story. Every story matters. We are honored to be a small part of their journey and grateful for the trust they place in us.

Thank you, Mema and family, for reminding us what community, kindness, and connection truly look like.

💙 One Mission. Many Paths. 💚🧡

Today, our staff had the opportunity to step away for a little while and show our support for one of our favorite community partners, The Wish Project.

This is always one of our favorite events of the year. The impact The Wish Project has on local families is nothing short of remarkable, providing essential items, hope, and dignity to those facing challenging times.

We are grateful for their partnership, their compassion, and their unwavering commitment to our community. Thank you for all that you do.

What happens on National Donut Day when Allison comes prepared? You get enough donuts to keep an entire community smiling. 🍩

As a nonprofit, we celebrate a lot of milestones. But few things compare to hearing our Residential Program Manager share stories like this.

Bryanna has worked hard, stayed committed to her goals, supported her peers, and consistently shown up with kindness and heart.

This recognition is well deserved, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young woman she continues to become.

Congratulations, Bryanna! Keep shining. 💜

Tonight, one of our residents, Sophia, attended her Junior Prom. 💚

When Sophia first joined our program, prom may have felt like a distant thought. But through hard work, determination, and the support of those around her, she continues to reach milestones that every young person deserves to experience.

Seeing her dressed up, smiling, and enjoying a night that celebrates friendship, memories, and growing up is something truly special. It’s a reminder that our mission is about more than housing. It’s about creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping young people experience the moments that shape their future.

Sophia, we are so proud of you and all that you have accomplished. We hope you have an unforgettable night and make memories that last a lifetime.
