This is the first piece I made in my garden series. I wanted it to feel like the red tinge you get behind your eyelids when lifting your face to the sun in a garden buzzing with bees. I had this epiphany to ink my plate in red! The red ink coming through the colors created this radiating feeling I was going for surrounded by splashes of colorful petals and stems.
