Our Story

Untitled Open Mic
A bi-monthly all ages open mic focused on providing a platform for writers and poets that is held on the first and third Tuesday of every month at Brew'd Awakening Coffeehaus. Each event we have a feature (local to traveling) poet and our venue is PSI-certified, hosting a cash prize poetry slam each night.

/// Admissions ///
We are happy to provide an open mic series that is all ages and with no cover/entry fee. While it is free to come to the open mic, donation while we pass the hat is greatly encouraged. Any monetary contribution to the space will go towards supporting our guest feature and for Mill City Slam projects.

We ask that we hold ourselves and one another accountable to creating a culture in which we treat each other with consent and respect. This looks like and is not limited to respecting people's physical and emotional boundaries and receiving explicit verbal consent before touching someone or crossing other personal boundaries.
