If your State Representative voted “Yes” to block the ballot initiative that 72% of voters approved to audit the Legislature, vote them out on November 3.
Their vote sent a clear message: they do not respect you nor do they believe in democracy!

Time sure has changed.
Rep Tara Hong of Lowell is up on the House floor speaking against the 72% audit right now in favor of Mr. Speaker’s bill to control audits completely and nullify entirely my office’s ability to conduct an audit. Rep Hong also deleted his video previously endorsing this audit where he stated he fully supported it while campaigning for this seat. Times change quickly.
The Massachusetts House of Representatives is moving to overturn the will of the 72% of voters who spoke clearly in November 2024.
This is the consequence of one-party dominance, where concentrated political power too often overrides the voice of the people.
When elected leaders disregard a clear voter mandate, faith in representative government is undermined.
The Speaker’s autocratic leadership style reflects a system where power is centralized and dissenting voices are too often sidelined.
