This past month, he’s been hustling across different markets throughout the state, putting in the hard work and climbing his way to the top. We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Zechariah Cane Gonzales, who left us far too soon on December 1, 2024, at the age of 21. Zechariah was a bright light to all who knew him, and his infectious personality and boundless energy will be deeply missed.

Zechariah was a valued member of the Pure Energy family, and we were honored to have him with us during his career journey. His time with us was marked by his incredible work ethic, his genuine nature, and his unwavering commitment to excellence. He was always willing to lend a hand or share a laugh, and it was clear from the start that he had a bright future ahead as an amazing car salesman. We are proud to have been a stepping stone in his career and to have seen him grow into the remarkable professional he became.

Zechariah’s passion for life extended beyond the workplace—he was a fierce competitor in both basketball and football and an avid learner, continuing his education at Wayland Baptist University. But most of all, he was known for his humor, kindness, and the love he shared so freely with those around him. Zechariah never met a stranger and made everyone feel valued and welcomed.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his parents, John and Marisela Gonzales, his brothers, Jeremiah and Aaron Gonzales, and the rest of his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Zechariah's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
