05/19/2026 - Locally heavy downpours could lead to some areas of localized flash flooding on Wednesday, May 20, 2026! Ongoing drought conditions have made our soil rock hard, and will delay the rate at which water can be absorbed back into it. Locally heavy rainfall rates will lead to some flooding in typical trouble spots. The highest potential will remain just south of the forecast area.

Areas in the light green could see thunderstorms, but severe weather is not *likely*. Damaging wind gusts and large hail will be possible with the strongest storms! Tornadoes are not likely. The most widespread coverage is expected over eastern areas, with central and western areas likely seeing more isolated to scattered activity.
