Hello, everyone! I’m afraid I’m pushing my luck since you all made my lighting dreams come true yesterday when I asked about lightbulbs but thought I’d try again. What vacuums do you love? I have a Dyson that lasted for 18+ years before it left this world (actually it’s been retired to the basement for light duty) but when I went to get another they had horrible reviews so I bought a Shark instead. The Shark works fine but after less than a year it started making a crazy loud noise and I’m waiting for it to explode so I’m once again on the hunt for a new vacuum. I’d really love a Dyson again but the reviews are still not great. I have carpet, hardwood and tiling. And a dog.

My daughter returned to her college apartment after Thanksgiving and discovered mold. She says the paint there was dark before and she suspects they painted over mold in the past. This is bad. I told her to contact management immediately.
My question is, can the wooden bookshelf, and her belongings pictured, be saved or should she throw it all out? The bookshelf is a nice little antique and belongs to her.

HELP!! I absolutely hate the backsplash. It has to go. However, after four backsplash samples, & 100s of AI edits….none of them look good. The cabinets will be changed to tan and the faucet will be gold. The granite counter makes me 😵‍💫😵‍💫 but too expensive to redo at the moment.

I will paint the backsplash, adhere peel & stick, or I’ve even thought about a thin layer of micro-cement. Just haven’t found the right combo of colors yet. ANY thoughts are appreciated for inspo.
