Dear parents and guardians.

Please be advised that Elite Learning Academy will be closed on Wednesday, 5/6/2026, due to a mandatory water shutdown by the City of Lubbock for major repairs in the area where we operate.

We understand this causes disruption, and we apologize for any inconvenience.

However, per our state's Childcare Licensing and Health Department regulations, a licensed childcare facility must have running, potable water—specifically hot water—for sanitary purposes, handwashing, and food preparation.

Because we cannot guarantee the necessary sanitary conditions for the children without a working water supply, we are legally required to close until the water service is fully restored and deemed safe for use.

Wednesday, 5/6/2026

Reopening:
We anticipate reopening on Thursday, 5/7/2026, assuming water service is restored by then.

We will keep you updated as we receive more information.
