Looking for a part time barn hand to help care for horses. Applicants must have some experience handling horses & have dependable transportation to & from work.

We are needing some additional help.
Must have prior horse experience.
Dog handling experience is a plus, but not required.
The job consist of stall cleaning, moving horses around the property, feeding/ watering horses, restocking feed rooms, cleaning the barn office and general barn clean up. This is a non riding position.
Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
Must have reliable transportation. Average hours are 20-30hrs. Per week.
Must be 18 yrs or older.
Currently we need someone who can work the following: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
Pay starting is $11 an hr. Evaluation and pay raise after 120 days.
Weekends are an extra $2 an hour.
With Holidays being an extra $4 an hr.
Our main business hours are Mon/Wed/Fri 9am--5pm to come in for an application.

Broodmare sound only. Easy to halter/lead. Good ground mannners and easy for the farrier. Easy keeper. She has two large knees and arthritis that makes her unsuitable to ride anymore. But has excellent bloodlines and still goes into heat regularly. All you need is a gelding near and she will let you know when she is in heat. "Gets very flirty and vocal." Has produced a large filly previously in 2020 without any issues. A very attentive mother. She has another foal season or two left in her. Her pedigree speaks for itself. She is one of the last own daughter's of San Jo Lena left.
