As i come in to sit down here at the restaurant with my family for the last time, i can ‘t help but be reminded of the wonderful people i’ve had the pleasure of meeting because of this place. Our little family will forever be grateful to Lubbock.

Folks,

I’m at the end of my contract on this building. With Meagan gone and Saleem in New York, it’s just me here to keep up with the day to day. I don’t have it in me to push this thing forward alone. I’ve been in preservation mode here for 3 years trying to hold on to what we had and in the process failed to move forward. Everything got so hectic for a while, i consolidated and tried to simplify. It’s hard to look to the future when you’re worried about today.I know many of our friends and familiar faces have been disappointed to learn of my decision and people want to know what’s next?? i don’t know. This week has been about finishing strong and treating our last day just like it was our first. I may not be able to control everything, but i know that having a positive attitude and the integrity to see this thing all the way to the end are two things i can control. I didn’t try to make a spectacle of it, i just tried to finish the race i started no matter what place i came in.
