As Texas counties grow, so do the demands on their technology infrastructure.
Local governments are balancing tighter cybersecurity requirements, aging networks, and constituents who expect the same digital experience from county offices that they get from their phones. The counties investing in technology today will be better positioned to serve their communities tomorrow.
The five areas driving the most investment right now are:
▪️ Cybersecurity: protecting sensitive citizen and government data.
▪️ Cloud services: scalable infrastructure without the overhead of on-premise systems.
▪️ Network upgrades: reliable connectivity as the backbone for everything else.
▪️ Citizen self-service tools: reducing call volume and improving access.
▪️ AI and automation: doing more with existing staff.
CTSI helps Texas businesses and local governments build the technology foundation that makes all of this possible.

Most people don't think about IT until something breaks.
But behind every smooth day at work — the email that loads instantly, the file that saves without a second thought, the VPN that connects without drama — there's a network engineer or systems administrator who made sure it would work before you ever needed it to.
These are the people who monitor systems before problems surface, respond when something goes wrong, and maintain the infrastructure that keeps your team moving. They don't get a lot of visibility. That's usually a sign they're doing their jobs well.
At CTSI, we're proud of the people behind the screens.

Most people know phishing is a threat, but few know exactly how it works — and that gap is exactly what attackers count on.
Here's what a typical phishing attack actually looks like:
🐟 The lure.
You get an email that looks legitimate. A bank notification, a package delivery alert, a message from "IT" asking you to reset your password. The branding looks right and the urgency feels real.
🎣 The hook.
You click a link. It takes you to a login page that looks exactly like the real thing, but isn't.
❗The exploit.
The attacker now has your login info. Depending on what account that is, they may have access to your email, your financial systems, your client data, or your entire network.
🌪️ The damage.
Downtime. Data loss. Regulatory exposure. A costly recovery, and a lot of explaining to do.
The good news: phishing attacks are largely preventable when your team knows what to look for. CTSI offers end-user security training that helps employees recognize and report suspicious activity before it becomes an incident.
Let's build that habit together: https://www.ctsinet.com/what-we-do/cybersecurity-solutions
