Thomas Hines for Parish Council

I’m excited to announce my candidacy for St. Charles Parish Council District 7.

I live in the Mimosa community with my wife, LaLonnie, and our two children, Sage and Safia. I was born in Texas and moved to Lafourche Parish in 1990, LaLonnie was raised in St. Charles Parish and graduated from Hahnville High School. Sage is a senior at Hahnville High and will be attending Nicholls State in the fall for accounting and Safia is a 7th grader at JB Martin.

Our family moved to St. Charles Parish in 2013 to plant and pastor Hope Church St. Charles, where I currently serve as Lead Pastor. In my nearly 10 years as a resident of St. Charles Parish, I have worked to be involved in our community in as many ways as possible by volunteering and serving with the following organizations and boards:

I do not consider myself to be a politician, but I am a committed citizen and I believe in the continual betterment of our community. My promise is to work hard to advocate for You and to champion decisions that are for St. Charles Parish to truly be the Parish of Plenty.
