Part 1 of the PANDAS project-
The story behind this house and the work we are doing here deserves to be heard. When our children's health and well being is on the line, every other thing is put aside and forgotten as the focus shifts entirely to caring for them.
This family left their home in hopes of finding healing in New Mexico, living out of suitcases for several years. Coming back for brief periods of time, relying on neighbors to care for their animals and home in their absence. Mice moved in, dust collected, the clothing piled up.
The misdiagnosis left their daughter and family as a whole to endure the volatile symptoms of PANDAS for years. I am working alongside a mother who has suffered the greatest loss and now wants to help prevent this from happening to even just one other child. As we put her family’s home back together, we will be sharing her story, the practices that helped address the PANDAS symptoms and the challenges they faced throughout.
Share the story and help us reach those who are silently suffering the effects of this disease.
