It's no secret that I'm a hard no on , the Hochul $1 Billion scheme to tax Nassau residents even more to drive into Manhattan - an extra $15 per trip.

My opponent, Judy Griffin, not only supports this controversial measure ... but it's just been reported that one of her most ardent backers, the League of Conservation Voters, dumped the bulk of $177,000 against me and another colleague for daring to protect our constituents. Read it yourself:

"League of Conservation Voters - The environmental group is weighing in on a handful of state races this year, spending a little under $177,000 across three districts. The bulk of that cash is being spent on ads attacking Brook-Krasny in Brooklyn and Assembly Member Brian Curran on Long Island. Curran is fending off a challenge from Democrat Judy Griffin, who had previously bested him to win the seat in 2018, and whom he defeated to win the seat back in 2022."

Outside groups spend millions to influence state legislative races Realtors, charter school groups and unions have spent big on Democratic – and some Republican – candidates.

New York under the tenue of Governor Kathy Hochul has hit a new low. In a FIVE-HOUR raid on an upstate animal sanctuary, the state seized and euthanized Peanut the Squirrel, a rescued animal and internet sensation.

With so many critical issues facing us – from the migrant crisis & illegal immigration to Bail Reform and Congestion Pricing to “Climate Leadership” that's hiked our utility bills – *THIS* is what New York State chooses for focus on?

I support a legislative investigation into how much in state resources were expended on a squirrel – from obtaining warrants to deploying an armed brigade to execute it. I also support efforts like Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz's proposed bill – Peanut’s Law – to ensure safeguards are put in place to avoid needlessly killing animals on a whim.
