I’d like to give everyone on here a chance to grab this one before I list it live on my website. This one is 48 x 60 inches done in oils.

I’m titling it “prelude to color”

This painting is an invitation to step into a world where color becomes the voice of our imagination. The shapes dance freely across the canvas, unbound and untamed, reminding us that within the everyday lies a space for wonder. It is about freedom—freedom to dream, to move beyond the ordinary, and to let our inner worlds spill out in vibrant expression. Each brushstroke carries the spirit of possibility, urging us to see life not just as it is, but as it could be.

This is the first ever abstract painting I painted many years ago. It was from this painting that everything else came from. I remeber the moment I painted this I knew that this is what I was supposed to be doing for the rest of my life.

People used to tell me to be realistic and to get a real job and that I should have a “plan b”. I write this to tell anyone with a dream never let anybody tell you what you can’t be in this life. Just because they didn’t live their dreams and decided to “play it safe” and didn’t commit don’t let them decide your future for you. Of course if you do have a dream it’s going to be a dog fight. You will have to work harder then you ever have in your entire life and there will be numerous times when you want to give up. But if you don’t want to be like the 99% you must be willing to do what the 99% are unwilling to do.

I just want to remind you that it is possible to live the life you have always dreamed of living if you want it bad enough.
