A little reminder of beauty in my garden this week. I picked the very last breaths, the very last gifts. I grew these from seed. The beautiful audacity of this little flower to be itself, a unique surprise, an anomaly. I picked it for my daughter as she loves unusual and serendipitous things as much as I do. Flowers are tangible joy. As bleak and heavy as things are I hope you find outliers of beauty, reminders of hope and unexpected reasons to smile. As we move through our grief, I hope we can show up for ourselves and our community like this little flower did on a cold mid-November day, bringing joy and hope to each other. 🩷
