Today the Lyndhurst Board of Commissioners passed a resolution celebrating the 90th Birthday of a truly special Lyndhurst Resident!
Dorothy Elizabeth Farley Kruza was born in Bayonne, NJ, on May 15, 1931. She met and married Frank J. Kruza on October 28,1950. 
They made their home Lyndhurst in 1962.
Dorothy was employed at Western electric in Kearny for 35 years. She also owned and
Operated Dotso Studios, a ceramic studio in Lyndhurst with classes every Tuesday & Thursday from 1971-1999. Her husband Frank was employed at 3M company for 38 years.
Dorothy is a life member and has been actively involved with the AT&T Pioneers of America for the past 45 years attending to critical community services. For many years She was instrumental in the Have A Heart Program sewing heart pillows designed to aid heart surgery patients at local hospitals. Also knitting and delivering baby blankets and hats for premature infants.
Dorothy and Frank did not have any children, but were blessed with 16 nephews and nieces; 20 great nephews and nieces; and 15 great-great nephews and nieces.
Dorothy’s nieces and nephews Frank Scaglione, Janie Paluzzi, Rosanne Stewart, James Halligan, George Halligan together with their children and extended family joyfully celebrated her 90th birthday on Saturday, May 15, with a Luau at her home in Lyndhurst.

Thank you to all of those who came out to vote today in this historic election—thank you for entrusting with us the sacred privilege of being able to represent this beautiful township we all love for the next 4 years!
We campaigned on a platform of hope and unity, not one of hate or division.
In this new term in office, we will deliver on the promises we made in the election, and will work to deliver everyday for all Lyndhurst residents, regardless if they voted for us or not.
