Prevent The Cycle

You want to get involved in this year's municipal elections, you want candidates to know your voice matters, and your vote (or future vote) does too. Then Prevent The Cycle is calling on you to apply for our fellowship!
This program will run from June to August and is a 3-month commitment to developing and participating in voter engagement programming.
Youth will receive a $300 stipend for their participation.
Eligibility:
Lynn resident (16 to 24 years old)
5- 10 hrs per week

Join us this Thursday as we explore the African American experience in the US and in Lynn through the lived experiences of local community members.
These sessions are our way of inspiring conversations on the many layers of the Afro-Diaspora. We will dive into how we see each other and ourselves and what it looks like to move forward, together.

Building on the conversations started at the Afro Diaspora festival we are holding five more community conversations that will dig deeper into the question who makes up the Afro Diaspora community. These conversations are part of our efforts to unify our local community, by holding discussions about what often divides us.
