Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to make pierogi and you give him a lifetime of happiness...I think that's how it goes.
Check out this awesome opportunity from Jaju Pierogi

A new piece of history!
"Doily" | Damaris Cruz | Lydia Pinkham Laboratories at 271 Western Ave
"I work with the themes of nostalgia, disuse and memories. I always try to use my own memories to represent like a frozen moment in life that is simple but yet so beautiful. In this mural, I did a giant doily for the background with the lace made out of shreds of papers from the yellow pages book and for the images (photos) a woman with her plants and with a hanger of shoe soles.
My wall is in the Lydia Pinkham building. First of all the wall is gorgeous I always like big buildings especially the old ones that come with all the energy of the history. Coming from a girl that loves plants, it was kind of magical to know that Lydia also worked with plants and herbs for her remedies. I merged both references, so that represents me but also a little of her.
I usually use myself for the photographs but whenever I have the chance to use people from the community I think it’s even more special.
For me it is very important that the community around my wall feels connected with it. I want them to feel the mural is their property and it's them who in the future want to protect it and preserve it."
