The City plans to set up it’s own police department in a year. Citizens will be charged an additional 4.5mils in property taxes to cover the cost. There may be exemptions but they have not been determined yet. Citizens can offer input to the city via a survey. The QR code provided in the meeting does not link to the survey but maybe the city will post a link to it on their social media.
