As part of our pond theme, our preschoolers brought their creativity to life by designing their very own ducks.
Using a variety of materials, children explored texture, color, and design while strengthening fine motor skills and creative expression. From coloring to assembling, each step encouraged independence, focus, and imagination.
Activities like this allow children to take ownership of their work while making meaningful connections to what they’re learning in the classroom.
At BFLA, we believe learning should be engaging, hands-on, and filled with opportunities for children to create something they’re proud of.

Through art and hands-on exploration, children are free to interpret their world in their own unique way. Whether it’s the colors they choose or the way they create, each child is expressing their understanding of the world around them.
Activities like this support fine motor development, creativity, and early imagination — all while connecting to the themes we’re exploring in the classroom.

There’s something special happening in moments like these.
Our toddlers are exploring creativity, building fine motor skills, and learning how to engage with one another — all while having so much fun. From holding their tools to making their own marks, each child is developing confidence, coordination, and independence.
And just as important, they’re learning to sit together, share space, and enjoy the experience alongside their peers.
At BFLA, we believe learning should be hands-on, joyful, and meaningful — because these early experiences build the foundation for everything that comes next.

In Taekwondo class, our preschoolers aren’t just learning physical skills — they’re learning how to support one another. Paired up to help each other complete sit-ups, children practice cooperation, patience, and encouragement while building strength and body awareness.
Activities like this help children develop early athleticism, balance, and coordination, while also reinforcing important social-emotional skills such as teamwork, empathy, and perseverance. Learning to work together — cheering each other on and lending a helping hand — is just as important as the movement itself.
At BFLA, we love seeing our children grow stronger in body and character through meaningful enrichment experiences like Taekwondo.

Today marks 5 years in our Downtown Austell location — a space that represents vision, perseverance, and purpose.
Although we secured the building a year prior, COVID slowed renovations and inspections, stretching what we thought would be a quick transition into a year of patience, faith, and determination. But we didn’t stop. We kept believing.
What started 18 years ago with one child in a home has grown into our largest and most beautiful space yet — a place filled daily with learning, laughter, and love.
From home base…
To growth…
To expansion…
To our biggest and final home — right here in the heart of Austell.
This journey has been built on faith, community, and the trust of hundreds of families who have allowed us to nurture, teach, and love their most precious gifts.
We are incredibly grateful.
We are incredibly proud.
And we are just getting started.

What looks like simple block play is actually the beginning of architecture, engineering, and creative problem-solving. As this child carefully builds higher and higher, they are planning, balancing, adjusting, and imagining — skills that form the foundation for so many future paths.
Moments like these remind us that we never truly know who these children will become or how their ideas will shape the world one day. That’s why meaningful interaction during play matters. When adults observe, ask questions, encourage thinking, and celebrate effort, play becomes a powerful learning experience.
At BFLA, we value purposeful play and intentional engagement — because every block stacked, every idea explored, and every moment of curiosity is an opportunity to support a child’s confidence, creativity, and potential.
