🌸It’s that beautiful time in Macon again when our thousands of Cherry trees are in bloom! As the Cherry Blossom capital of the world, we Macon natives take great pride in our beloved Yoshinos and their delicate, white to pink flowers.

If you want to plant a Yoshino Cherry in your yard, be sure to find a spot that gets plenty of sunlight (although they can grow in some shade), and make sure you give them enough room to spread out without growing into your house or other structures (at least 15'). Water them in well upon installation, and 3 to 4 times a week for the first couple of weeks. After that, you can back off and water them as needed once they are established. Cherry trees are among the first to bloom each Spring so they are sure to bring beauty and joy to your landscape.
