Pollinators like bees, butterflies, bats, and moths are critical players in the food system, responsible for aiding pollination of 75 to 95% of all flowering plants—including many food crops, such as coffee, almonds, avocados, blueberries, and vanilla. Today, on World Bee Day, we celebrate not just the numerous bee species that keep our food system buzzing, but all the pollinators that play a vital role in giving us the foods we enjoy.
