Our mission is simple but powerful: to improve the quality of life for all residents of Macon-Bibb County through litter prevention, beautification projects, waste reduction efforts, and educational programs.

Education is the foundation of everything we do. In observance of World Ocean Day, we organized a special event for young campers at Camp Milestone and the Bloomfield-Gilead Recreation Center highlighting the importance of ocean conservation through Joel Harper's book, All the Way to the Ocean. Each camper received a complimentary package containing the book, coloring books, crayons, clear string backpacks, and water bottles. We appreciate the support of Commissioner Stanley Stewart, Commissioner Donice Bryant, and George Crawley as guest readers. Joel Harper Macon+Bibb County

We are excited to announce a special surprise for campers at Camp Milestone and Bloomfield Gilead Recreation Center. In celebration of World Ocean Day, each camper will receive a copy of the children's book, All the Way to the Ocean by Joel Harper.

World Ocean Day is an officially recognized United Nations international day observed annually on June 8 to promote global awareness of the ocean's vital role in sustaining life on Earth and advocate for its preservation.

🌳✨ Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, Murphey Park in the Historic Ingleside Neighborhood just got even better!
With new shade trees, park benches, and picnic tables, the park is now an even more welcoming space for families and visitors to relax and connect.
