Our agencies have elected to take 2023 off. We appreciate the years you've ran Second Wind 5k in support of Madera County Food Bank and the Madera Rescue Mission, The enthusiam of this community is like no other, so when we return in 2024, we hope you'll meet us with that same joy and energy for another lap around the track!
Your support in service or financial to both agencies is welcome anytime of the year.

You Run. We Run
“Running with a Second Wind promoting a Second Chance for those in need.” All proceeds benefit the Madera Rescue Mission and Madera Co. Food Bank.
We broke past $100,000 in 2019 through participation and local sponsorship. What we’ve also raised is a THRILLING, one of a kind event, that proudly reflects our passion for MADERA, Madera Rescue Mission, Madera County Food Bank and activity that brings unity! Coming to our 6th starting line is a exciting moment for our team and committed participants. RUN WITH US!!!
Race Day:
Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Madera District Fairgrounds
Race starts and finishes on the Madera Speedway racetrack
7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. Packet Pickup and Late Registration *T-shirts
not guaranteed for those who register on race day!
8:00 a.m. (NEW START TIME) Mini Sprint - Kids race for ages 2-10.
8:25 a.m. National Anthem
8:30 a.m. (NEW START TIME) 5K Race (If you will be walking any portion of the 3.1
mile race, please line up behind the faster runners)
9:15 a.m. Awards Ceremony
9:45 a.m. Course Closes

Register online at www.secondwind5K.com through March 5th 2020.
Registration can also be completed in person at Packet Pickup
location: CROSSFIT Mader, 3-7pm, on March 6th with cash or card.
Registration will be capped at 500 participants.
Infants and toddlers may be pushed in a stroller by registered adults.
Those with strollers, please line up in the back at the race start.
