🚧 MCTA Approves Implementing Guidelines for Renewed Measure T🚧

The Madera County Transportation Authority (MCTA) has approved the Implementing Guidelines for the citizen-initiated, voter-approved, and renewed Measure T transportation sales tax program, marking a key step in advancing transportation investments across Madera County.

The guidelines establish the framework for funding allocations, project programming, reporting, and oversight to ensure transparency and accountability.

β€œThe voters of Madera County made it clear that maintaining and improving our transportation system remains a priority. These guidelines ensure that Measure T funds will improve roads, enhance safety, and secure additional state and federal funding for future transportation projects. This local investment will help address transportation needs and improve mobility for residents for many years to come.” β€” Supervisor Robert Poythress, Chair of MCTA

Measure T continues to support local transportation improvements throughout Madera County, the City of Madera, and the City of Chowchilla.
