We’ve said your name so loosely, placed you on things you were never meant to hold.
Called you real…
even when you were breaking us quietly.

And yes!!!
sometimes it hurts,
but not every hurt is love.
Sometimes it’s confusion wearing a beautiful name.
Sometimes it’s attachment…
echoing where love should have been.

Real love… It doesn’t need pain to prove it exists!!!
It may stretch you,
it may grow you,
but it does not come to destroy you!

So Ive learned….
to speak love with care,
to recognize it with truth!
and to stop calling everything love
just because I felt something!!!
