Did you know the Joker was supposed to die in Batman #1? 🤡🦇
Batman co-creator Bill Finger thought recurring villains were a bad idea. His reasoning? If Batman keeps fighting the same criminal over and over, doesn’t that make him look bad at his job?
Thankfully, an editor stepped in and saved the Joker at the last minute. One small decision… and comic book history was changed forever.
