Playing with appliqué for my page in Entre puntadas y sabores: Un recetario comunitario bordado.
I’m part of a community of Latina immigrants creating an artist book inspired by recipes from our home countries. Each recipe is interpreted differently, using fabric and thread.
My page is child-like, with drawings I made digitally and printed with . Now I’m adding appliqué for dimension, and next comes the embroidery. Can anyone guess what my recipe is?
