It is not always shoe repair that comes in. This came in over the weekend, great uncle's suitcase that got stickers on it from everywhere he stayed on summer trips. Didn't have the camera before I tore off all the black electrical tape. The binding is getting resewn, installed a metal gusset where the lid side cracked, and need to reglue the bottom structure back to the side. Lots of hand stitching ahead, but the lid crack is structral again and binding sewn back on the first bit

After dealing with two leg breaks last year that have healed, it has been discovered that both arms are broke (ulna). Been doing work I can pull off for the last month with help from friends. Doc tomorrow to hopefully put the bones back together. Repairs will still happen but time frames maybe delayed. Apologies to all.
