This Madison home only had one bathroom - on the second floor. For these homeowners, that meant countless trips upstairs and an inconvenience for guests. Since they wanted to stay in the house long-term, they knew they wanted to address it.

Our design-build team helped them reimagine their unused porch as a new, energy-efficient sunroom, and we integrated a full powder room right inside it.

With careful planning, compact fixtures like a wall-hung toilet, and clever routing of plumbing and HVAC, we created a seamless bathroom addition that looks like it’s always been part of the home.

These homeowners wanted to replace their existing outdoor deck with a bright, light-filled screened-in porch.

But the update wasn't just about the new outdoor space - it was about the porch becoming an extension of the home. How it felt from inside the home too, and how it all connected.

Along with the new screened porch, our team widened the archway between the kitchen and dining room and expanded the doorway to the porch, adding a large multi-sliding stacking door from the dining room.

Those interior changes impact how the spaces relate to one another, helping the porch feel like a natural extension of the home rather than something tacked on.

The result is a bright, comfortable screened-in porch that blends perfectly with the layout of the home - a place that feels connected and easy to move in and out of.
