Today, Monrovia Volunteer Fire Rescue honors and remembers the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Memorial Day is more than the start of summer it is a day of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for those who gave their lives protecting the freedoms we enjoy every day.

We also recognize the families of our fallen heroes whose sacrifices continue long after the battle has ended. Your strength and resilience will never be forgotten.

As we gather with friends and family this Memorial Day, we encourage everyone to take a moment to remember those who paid the highest price for our country.
