we found our second home in during COVID. we had the honor of partnering with them in offering a micro-wedding package for those that wanted to celebrate in accordance with the mandates and restrictions in place.

these intimate and beautiful weddings were a bright spot during the pandemic and officiating these weddings definitely helped our founder, Dominique, work on her fear of public speaking! 😅

tessa + dereck’s wedding was the one that made us fall in love with the . we’ll tell you a few of our favorite things!

1. the exterior has grand columns that are an incredible backdrop for photos of the wedding couple once the sun is behind the building [quick tip: earlier in the day, the light is harsh!]

2. the library reading room is another beautiful backdrop for photos or it can be used as your ceremony location! there are plenty of windows that let natural light in + as the sun sets, the reading lamps can be turned on to bring a warm glow to the room.

3. on your way to the library reading room, you get to use the beautiful marble stairs so make sure to get some photos! [there is an elevator that can be used for folx with mobility issues]

we all can agree lush florals + centerpieces on guest tables are GORGEOUS, but there are times where they're not functional. ​​​​​​​​

if you decide to have your meal served family style, you'll have to account for the space that the large bowls and platters will use on the table. ​​​​​​​​

enter: bud vases! we love using bud vases to add flowers and a *pop* of color! with the addition of a mixture of candles [votives + tapers + pillars] will give you the flower accents you love with the space for your guests to eat comfortably 😊​​​​​​​​

hey y'all! we've been quiet on this page [aside from our stories/reels] for a loooooong time. between life happenings, social media burnout, and raising kids we've been busy!​​​​​​​​

we have some exciting changes happening and can't fit them all into one post, so we'll start with this one!!​​​​​​​​

this studio space may look familiar to some of you. it's a shared studio that we've been scoping out for about 4 years. it has been home to some incredible businesses in the past and we're excited to announce that we're joining this shared office on august 1st!​​​​​​​​
