We're wrapping up our Fatherhood Superhero campaign with one final — and very special — nomination.

Program Coordinator Kathy from our Northern Region wanted to shine a light on an entire crew of father figures.

Together, these dads serve our participants as WIOA Career Planners, a W-2 Placement FEP, a Skills Instructor, a Refugee Services Case Manager, and a WIOA Team Lead. But beyond their titles, they show up every day as positive influences — guiding participants, supporting staff, and genuinely caring about helping people reach their dreams.

Between them, they're also raising 13 children, spoiling 1 grandchild, and keeping a few dogs and cats very happy at home. 🐾

Kathy says the band, Nothing More said it best: "Never settle. Make your mark. Hold your head up. Follow your heart." That's exactly what these Father Figures do — for their families, for our participants, and for each other.

To every dad in our organization, among our clients, and across our community — we hope you felt celebrated this June. 💙

When Kemiazya first came to our FSET program, she was navigating life without a home, a vehicle, and a job. The barriers were real. But so was her determination.

Through FSET, Kemiazya received interview clothing, transportation assistance, and support that helped her land a part-time job. Then she made a bold decision: she was going to pursue a career in healthcare.

She enrolled in the CNA program at Madison College — balancing work, school, and daily challenges — and last December, she graduated. By March, she was working as a CNA at a health and rehabilitation center.

We're so proud of everything Kemiazya has accomplished and can't wait to see what she does next.
