Round two of our Spring Spruce Up with the incredible team from TruStage was a total success! 🪴✨
Last week, volunteers tackled garbage pickup, weeding, flower planting, and mulching the playground at Prairie Crossing Apartments. It was so rewarding to see last year’s planting efforts thriving—the strawberries and flowers looked beautiful, and our residents were so happy to share their progress with the team!
Huge thanks to the TruStage volunteers (Steve, Michelle and Alex) for their hard work and big hearts. You make such a difference!

🏠At the heart of every thriving community is a safe, stable home.
We are excited to share a featured editorial we did for the Spring/Summer issue of Second Act: A senior Lifestyle and Resource magazine. The article shines a light on the challenges many of our neighbors in Dane and Green Counties face—from aging homes to rising energy costs and accessibility needs.
For 55 years, Project Home has served as a community-powered safety net, providing essential weatherization, critical home repairs, and life-changing accessibility modifications like ramps and grab bars. Whether it’s helping a senior age in place or ensuring a veteran’s home is secure, these improvements do more than fix buildings—they protect the dignity and independence of our residents.
