☀️ A heat wave is bringing extreme temperatures this week, so now is the time to take extra precautions to keep pets safe.

During extreme heat, pets should spend as much time as possible indoors, ideally in air conditioning, with access to plenty of fresh water. For dogs who need to go outside, keep walks and outdoor time short and avoid the hottest parts of the day.

🐾 Hot pavement can burn paws quickly, and heat-related dangers like dehydration, overheating, and heatstroke can become life-threatening. Review these tips to help keep your dog safe when temperatures soar.

☀️ Una ola de calor traerá temperaturas extremas esta semana, así que ahora es el momento de tomar precauciones adicionales para mantener seguras a las mascotas.

Durante el calor extremo, las mascotas deben pasar el mayor tiempo posible dentro de casa, idealmente con aire acondicionado y acceso a suficiente agua fresca. Para los perros que necesitan salir, mantenga los paseos y el tiempo al aire libre breves, y evite las horas más calurosas del día.
