Here's the inside scoop on what our staff, friends, and allies are into this month to help get a better perspective on issues of race, leadership, transformation, justice, and community. We hope that these recommendations help us build a stronger community together!

Our Antiracist Q***r Allies Alumni Group participated in the Always There Fair with a Nehemiah table on Saturday, May 9th. The Always There Fair is a middle-and high-school-aged celebration of LGBTQIA2S+ identities and allies. Our table brought resources and button-making!

The Madison Police Department is now accepting applications for its 2026 Black Youth Academy, a free summer program for middle school students. The week-long academy builds leadership, confidence, and life skills while giving youth hands-on exposure to law enforcement and mentorship in a supportive environment.
