Just a little reminder to everyone trying to schedule appointments. Crystal is handling facebook messages - because of her workload you may not get a timely response. Nan is handling text messages at 608-244-7204 and emails to [email protected]. our priority is to existing customers who have been regular customers. The best way to get a fast response is to provide all important information on the front end: Name first and last, vehicle year make and model, engine size, a VIN or license plate helps too. It's pretty much just Nan and Crystal right now so plan far ahead if time!!! Also please do not tow in any vehicles that can not roll on all 4 wheels. We will not be able to get them into the shop!!!
A quick update on what's been happening at the shop. Right now Nan and I (Crystal) are the only two working at the shop (there should be 8 people). We do not have a full time front desk/phone person. So if you have left a message and not gotten a call back it's because there really is no one there to do it. I have been staying late on Fridays or coming in over the weekend to call people back. I'm finding this to be a very nonproductive use of time. I'm hoping I can redirect the calls to our e-mail or to message me here. We are also working on possibly getting a cell phone instead of a land line so that we might be able to use Text messaging as well (update on that when avail).

Services requested or needed
Pick a day to drop it off or if it's something you would wait for like an oil change pick a time between 9-4 Mon - Thursday or 9, 10, or 11 on Fridays. (Apts start on the hour)
We are usually booking appointments for the following week.
We typically do not have avail appointment during the week you are calling.
Another way to make an appointment is to stop by the shop. The only issue with this is that when you stop by we have to stop working on someone else's appointment. So when someone asks "how long will this repair take?" ....depends on how many times I have to stop and do something else, right? So we just ask that you keep it brief and maybe have some days and times in mind already, or a plan to wait or drop off in mind etc.
I am also getting a lot of voicemails regarding work we do not do here so here is a list of things we don't do:
Body Work (Bumpers, accident damage, dents, paint, rust etc)
Exhaust (mufflers, pipes, catalytic converters, exhaust manifold gaskets, etc)
A/C recharge, Evaporator core, compressor/clutch, leaks etc.
Major engine or transmission work
Timing belts
Electrical drains
Alignments
We also do not work on certain vehicles: BMW, VW, SAAB, MERCEDES, VOLVO, AUDI, MINI COOPER, SMART CAR
Again I wish to say thank you to everyone for your support and continued trust in us with your vehicles. We are doing our best to continue to provide the level of customer service we have always strived for. Nan and I are both pretty worn down, sore, and tired! So I hope I can count on you for some help with the scheduling, I think messages will be more effective than voicemails back and forth.
