2023 brought a greater mix of projects to Wisconsin’s commercial property assessed clean energy (C-PACE) program. We attribute that to a larger mix of lenders and the assistance of PACE Wisconsin stakeholder groups: counties, economic development groups, chambers, developer associations, and local utilities were essential partners in helping to spread the word about the impact of PACE as an economic development tool that creates more energy efficient buildings in Wisconsin. https://lnkd.in/dw8tHYiV

The Kimball Building, an adaptive reuse C-PACE project in the Oshkosh, Wisconsin is the story of rebirth. After years of sitting vacant, a major renovation project for the 120-year-old building is underway, turning it into market rate residential apartments and the property owner is using $951,421 in C-PACE financing to help make that happen. Inland Green Capital, LLC provided the C-PACE financing for energy efficiency and water savings improvements for the property.
