We are all socialized to worry a lot about making mistakes. A lot of this perception we pick up in school where there is such an emphasis on doing things a certain way to get a certain outcome.

we work to create an environment where you can free yourself of this thinking...Just because a piece doesn't turn out exactly as you envisioned, doesn't mean it's wrong or bad...only that it doesn't appear as it was first envisioned. That's serendipity, and we should learn to embrace it!

People who like to make things are naturally interested in the tactile nature of the tools it takes to do the work. There are so many textures and temperatures to the tools we use .
