⚡Why do you volunteer through the State Bar?
“I volunteer with the State Bar to stay informed of legal developments and connect with the broader legal community.”

💁What does your volunteer service look like?
“As a board member of the Business Law Section, I serve as the blog chair, editing blog submissions, and also help develop business law CLE programs for members.”

👀Why is it important to volunteer?
“Volunteering fosters a stronger connection to the community by bringing people together around shared goals and promoting collaboration and engagement.”

“There are so many different ways to get involved with the State Bar - last summer, I had the opportunity to write an article for Wisconsin Lawyer magazine.”

Kieran's blog post describes "a welcome update to Wisconsin’s rules of appellate procedure [following cases that] confirm that appellants are no longer haunted ... and may appeal an order denying a motion for summary judgment even after the case proceeds to trial." Nikki Yang will give a presentation on Stafford Rosenbaum's trusts and estates practice during the Area Chinese Community Organization's "MACCO Talks" educational series program this Saturday, February 28, at the Verona Public Library. The presentation will be conducted in and is designed to help members of the local Chinese community better understand their rights and responsibilities under United States law.
