We want to thank all of the volunteers that came out for the 2026 annual Spring Cleanup organized by Milwaukee Riverkeeper that set the record for the most participants in a river cleanup (multiple locations). More than 2000 volunteers provided at their sites eligible to be counted for the record, but more than 4500 volunteers volunteered at 120+ sites across southeast Wisconsin!
We are glad that we were able to support this event through our AmeriCorps Volunteer Generation Fund funding this year and look forward to the difference that Milwaukee Riverkeeper and their volunteers will continue to make in the future!
