KL Engineering is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to join our Infrastructure Services team, with opportunities available at any of our office locations. This full-time role is open to mid- and senior-level candidates with 3–10+ years of experience. You’ll design and deliver roadway, drainage, and geometric plans using tools like AutoCAD and Civil 3D while collaborating with clients, municipalities, and internal teams. In this role, you’ll help solve complex design and construction challenges, support permitting and environmental efforts, and contribute to project success from concept through construction. Senior candidates will also have the opportunity to lead projects, mentor staff, and help shape team performance.
