Baby bonds are an evidence-based, relatively low-cost way to reduce the persistent wealth gaps that permeate our society – a related but different problem than the wage gap, which can be somewhat alleviated by increasing the minimum wage, investments in workforce and higher education/training, and strengthening collective bargaining rights.

Today is Provider Appreciation Day!
Child care providers are the workforce behind the workforce and teach our kids the necessary skills needed for early childhood education.
We need to support Wisconsin's child care system to take the burden off of working parents and recognize the profession as essential to our state's economy. I've been fighting for public investment into this important industry and will continue to advocate for child care providers. Enjoy this clip!
